ASTM E119 내력벽에 사용되는 건축자재의 최대하중계산

ASTM E119 규격에 따라 벽 구조물에 내화성 시험을 진행할 때, 내력벽에 사용될 자래로 지어진벽 구조물은 화재시 건물붕괴의 위험성을 고려해 적재하중을 부하해 시험을 진행한다. 이 때 최대하중은 국가에서 지정한 설계기준강도에 따라 결정되며, 이 설계기준강도에 단위면적을 고려해 벽 구조물 위로 적재하중을 적용하게 된다.

대안책으로 ASTM E119 규격은 최대하중보다 낮은 하중을 적용해서 시험하는 것을 허용하지만 이러한 시험은 반드시 제한적인 하중조건에 따라 시험되었음을 보고서에 명시해야 한다.

IEC 60529 IP X8 시험

IEC 60529 시험은 방수방진 시험으로 밀폐정도를 측정하는 시험이다. 이 시험은 시험 정도에 따라 IP 등급을 결정하며 IP 뒤에 붙는 숫자가 높을수록 밀폐율이 좋다는 것을 의미한다.

IP X8 시험은 사용자가 시험방법을 규정하여 시험을 진행한다.

IP X7 시험은 침수시험으로 수중 1m 깊이에서 30분동안 시험을 진행한다. IEC 60529 시험은 IP 등급이 높아질수록 시험강도가 더 높아지기 때문에 IP X8시험은 1m 깊이 이하에서 더 오랫동안 시험을 하는 것을 전제한다.
시험을 진행할 깊이나 시간에 관한 것은 제품이 사용될 환경과 관련이 있으며 특별히 정해진 기준은 없다.
